Naiga Hadiia Gift is a Ugandan lawyer with a strong interest in human rights, social justice, and women's empowerment, committed to promoting equality and dignity in society.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and is currently pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice. Her legal education and practical training have strengthened her skills in legal research, legal analysis, client engagement, advocacy, and applying law to real-world challenges.
Naiga has gained practical exposure to legal practice through engagement with legal systems and institutions. These experiences have strengthened her understanding of litigation, legal aid, dispute resolution, criminal justice, climate justice, land and property matters, and the role of legal practitioners in ensuring that individuals can effectively exercise and protect their rights.
She has a particular interest in issues affecting women, girls, and persons facing barriers to justice. Naiga aspires to contribute to a legal profession that is accessible, ethical, responsive, and centred on the protection of human dignity.
